Your Gift Means More

Your gift means more to us than the dollars themselves—it represents your belief in our mission and your decision to stand with us. Together, we are preserving the past and protecting the future.

“One story can change it all …”

When we center on a single story, we create space for connection, insight, and possibility. In these moments, learning becomes deeply personal and futures begin to form. As educators, we move students forward with purpose and hope—one powerful story at a time.

Your contribution makes these moments possible.

  • "The students need this first-hand information. They need to see and hear these stories because the stories must be told. Students are the future and the ones that will carry the torch, relaying this important information to their peers, and to their families."

—Mary Smith, Oak Ridge Middle School

  • "These people are more than just a number. We have to keep telling their stories."

    —Mary Anne Patchett, SCBCS Educator

  • "When you zoom into one story you make connections that otherwise would not be made."

    —Jonathan Seekford, Seminole High Educator

  • "As an educator, I think it is important to keep telling the story and to never forget."

    Heidi Zissman, Rollins College Educator

  • "Our job as educators is to make sure our students go into the future with hope"

    —Mary Anne Patchett, SCBCS Educator
